Every Moon Padel racket begins with what it's made from, not just what it becomes. We work exclusively with 100% Spanish-sourced, EU-certified materials - EU carbon fibre, premium EVA foams, and the resins that hold them together. Nothing enters production until it meets our standard.
The carbon fibre sheets and foam core are precision-cut to the exact shape of each racket model. Layers are hand-placed by our artisans, one at a time, in a sequence that determines how the racket will ultimately feel, flex, and respond on court.
The layered materials are placed into aluminium moulds and pressed under carefully controlled heat and pressure. This is where a racket's core characteristics - its power, its control, its balance - are largely decided. Get this stage wrong, and no amount of finishing can fix it.
Each racket is cured in the mould at a precise temperature for a set period of time, allowing the resin to fully bond the carbon and foam into a single, rigid structure. Rushing this step is how corners get cut elsewhere in the industry. We don't rush it.
Once cured, each racket is removed from its mould and trimmed by hand - excess material is carefully removed, edges are refined, and the racket's final silhouette is revealed.
The face and frame are sanded by hand through multiple passes, refining the surface texture that gives each model its distinctive feel and spin characteristics. This is slow, deliberate work - the kind that a machine alone can't replicate.
Each racket receives its finish - whether that's Lunar's sleek matte black, Eclipse's striking turquoise, or the shifting chameleon tones of Supernova and Supernova X. Colour is applied in careful layers to achieve the depth and shimmer that define our finishes.
The Moon Padel crescent and wordmark are applied to every racket by hand, positioned with precision so the finished piece carries our mark exactly as intended.
The handle is fitted, wrapped, and finished with our branded grip and wrist cord - the final physical elements a player will actually hold.
Before any racket leaves our workshop, it's inspected - weight, balance, finish, and structural integrity are all checked against our standard. Anything that doesn't meet it doesn't ship.
